Bio

Born in Gary, Indiana, Zyanya started dancing at age 4 with many Mexican Folkloric dance groups. She created, managed and directed the Baile Sol Dance group. Zyanya studied dance in Mexico and performed throughout the Midwest at universities, festivals & national conferences.

Zyanya has performed at theaters, festivals, clubs and corporate gigs within Chicagoland as her following continues to grow. The natural progression was to form her own band. Zyanya is now a twelve piece Salsa and Merengue group featuring some original songs, penned by Zyanya herself. In this era of female singer/songwriters, Zyanya has the look, the love, the voice and the groove.
