The Karen Hart Band (KHB) delivers a unique high-energy stage show performing classic rock, alternative rock, blues rock and country rock favorites. KHB is the most exciting and refreshing band to come around in a long time. They bring energy and excitement to every show pulling the audience into the fun. At the heart of the band are four hard driving professional musicians who have been rocking the Chicago area and performing at the Midwest s most popular festivals for over twenty years. Karen started the band in January 2007 contacting the most talented musicians she ever played with and a year and half later, they were performing LIVE on NBC 5 News Chicago, FOX News Chicago WFLD, CBS 2 Chicago, ABC 7 Chicago and CLTV Chicagolands Television for the opening of 2008 The Taste of Chicago. Members of KHB have opened for such major acts as the Gin Blossoms, the Smithereens, Dennis DeYoung, The Ides of March, M&R Rush and they have played at many of the major Midwest festivals and venues
The great thing about KHB is the band s synergy and the level of talent each performer brings to the stage. Karen s powerful vocals and onstage energy leaves no doubt she can ROCK like few others. Norm is an extremely talented lead guitarist, people say he is a virtuoso, who entertains the audience with his onstage antics and entertains the band at every show. Gerry is an extremely accomplished drummer having performed with a long list of local legends in the Midwest and is KHB's strong foundation. John's incredible talent and fun, yet confident, attitude towards music adds a high level of showmanship to KHB. To stay innovative, the band is constantly improving their show with new material and features, exciting musical arrangements with an intense energy level to lure future fans and to keep their existing fans coming back.
