"Understanding diversity and multiculturalism requires
that we eliminate or reduce the anxiety of our ignorance and how to
speak honestly when we can't." -Preacher Moss
Preacher Moss is clearly the new prototype for the comedian
of these times and the times to come. A writer for "The Damon Wayans
Show" and "Saturday Night Live," his comedy stylings
are distinguished for being sculptured out of the everyday relevance
of life and the rare glimpses of truth we value as reality. He is intellectual,
yet humble. He is charismatic and dynamic, but does not have to demand
great attention or time because his audiences come to cooperatively
listen, laugh and in "special" moments, reflect. Truly this
is a rare combination. He is more than a comedian, priding himself on
being just a man. Viewed, respected and revered as a man of the people,
his words carry life and just as importantly, they carry laughter.
Armed with sincerity, intellect and rare comedic ability,
Preacher Moss is the "End of Racism" Comedy and Lecture Tour.
"Speaking on Truth," Moss has been playing to the hearts and
minds of college students and administrators all over the country. With
his insight on "racial understanding vs. racial interaction"
he has quickly become the funniest social commentator on the college
scene today.
The "End of Racism" is not just the name of
the tour, but a commitment that we all share. Preacher moss knows how
to deliver the goods on how we see race through race through laughter,
respect and the humility of a man who felt the sting of racism for not
just blacks, but whites, gays, latinos, as the poor and the underclass
of America.
Moss has a notable list of television appearances: NYC
Urban Comedy Festival, BET Comicview, Comedy Central, Politically Incorrect,
Nightline (ABC), Latino Laugh Festival. He has performed with many artist
greats including Maya Angelou, WAR, The Last Poets, Stanley Clarke,
George Lopez, Darryl Hammond, Chris Farley, George Wallace, Will Durst,
and many more
Some testimonials...
Hi again Scott.
Also wanted to thank you for setting things up for Preacher Moss’ “End of Racism Comedy and Lecture Tour.”
What a great performer! He expertly weaved funny stories and situations with important lessons about the differences between people. He made the students laugh, but also caused them to think. Between explosions of laughter, I could see the students digesting the information he was presenting to them. After his closing, students continued talking and laughing, but, perhaps, most importantly, they were addressing topics like racism, sexism, and homophobia because of what Preacher Moss had said.
Thanks again for helping us bring such a talented performer to our campus!

"He is an 'undercover agent for social change.' Preacher Moss'
lecture should be recognized as the lecture most likely to spark random
acts of intelligence and good vibes."
-Jamaal Edwards, Coordinator of Coalition for Change Summit
"Delivering some of the most important things you'll
ever hear about diversity, he gives you the uncut truth and boy is it
funny the way he does it. He's absolutely unforgettable!!"
-Damon Wayans, Actor/Writer
"I found myself astounded by his willingness to be
vulnerable and talk about his journey to enlightenment in dealing with
other cultures. I found myself nodding my head as he spoke the truths
of the 'new sexism' as it applies to women's causes. Simply amazing."
