New ElementFast FactsLocation: Chicagoland BioThe musical group New Element is categorized as a “unique blend” of many styles of Irish/Celtic/Rock/Bluegrass music played with a contemporary feel. The current group has been playing in the Chicagoland area for the last seven years and is having tremendous success from their performances. Their uniqueness derives not only from their musical talents but also from their high energy stage show. Whether they are playing a song with their instruments behind their backs, or bringing part of the audience on stage with them to help play a song with percussion instruments, they are sure to grab your attention. Their sound and personality are very warm and unique as New Element takes its audiences on a “musical roller-coaster” that is a must see. The core of this group are the Horgash brothers from Schererville, Indiana. These four brothers (out of eight children) have played together for several years while growing up in a musical family in Indiana. They have a following of over 1,800 fans and they are a top draw at every show. Musical engagements are pretty diverse such as: Guiness Beer festivals, Chicago land Borders Books and Music Stores, Taste of Chicago, Chicago Celtic Festival, Indianapolis Irish Festival, Quigley’s Irish Pub (Naperville, IL), The Kerry Piper (Willowbrook, IL), Shannon’s Landing (Lansing, IL), Finnegan’s Wake (Dyer, IN), Buddy N Pals (Valparaiso, IN), Valparaiso Popcorn Festival (Valparaiso, IN) and many private parties. |
