Mark Hussman as ElvisFast FactsMark Hussman is best known in the United States as producer and headliner of the biennial "Elvis Spectacular'' Concert Series. Before graduating from Northwestern's School of Speech, Chicagoan Mark Hussman landed some bit-part spots on soaps like "General Hospital." But it wasn't until he won the "All-Elvis Championship" in 1993 that his career as Elvis came into focus.
He began hosting Elvis events around town, started touring (Vegas, naturally), and in 1997, Hussman began the popular twice-a-year "Elvis Spectacular" to honor the King's birth and death dates. From 1993 to 1998, he performed at the United Center during the golden years of the Chicago Bulls. In 1997, Hussman wrote and starred in the critically acclaimed holiday musical, "Christmas with the King'' at Pipers Alley. Mark has also produced and headlined the Annual Elvis Concert in Lincoln Park, after the Chicago's "Elvis Is Alive" 5K, every year since its inception, in 1997.
In 1997, Mark Hussman joined forces with the (brand new) House of Blues to create the very first Elvis Spectacular Concert. The concert series has become increasingly popular, and continues to this day, twice a year, every year. Coming soon, Mark will be producing, "The 30th Anniversary Elvis Spectacular!"
"The Margrocks" perform with Mark throughout the year - on television, on stage, and over the radio. The beautiful, Las Vegas-style, Margrock dance troupe features some of Chicagoland's top models, dancers, and actresses. "The Margrocks" represent Elvis Girls, who were so popular in all the movie musicals "The King" made during the 60s! Mark and the Margrocks combine this movie element into Elvis' 1970's Concert format.
