How to describe Local Favorite, other than
we’re trying hard to live up to our name? With a seamless crossover of
classic rock to modern country to blues, reggae and soul mixed with a smattering
of current top-40 hits there’s something for everyone. You’ll
know every song and be on the dance floor from the first song to the
last.
Local Favorite is a vocal band first and foremost, with five
vocalists trading male and female leads and singing harmonies. And its members
are multi-instrumentalists . . . in addition to the usual guitar, bass and drums
you’ll hear banjo, mandolin, upright bass, an assortment of keyboards
and harmonica, playing songs from artists like:
