Bio

Live Band Karaoke. The name says it all. Karaoke with a LIVE BAND. Combining the silly fun of karaoke with the energy of a live rock band. Live Band Karaoke allows anyone to fulfill their rock and roll fantasy.

Singing is only half the fun! Watching others performing their unique renditions of rock's greatest songs also contribute to the hilarity. Some singers really belt out the tunes, while others make up for a lack of singing ability with rowdy stage presence. Either way, the irony and humor work on many levels as the band rocks out the songs true to the original recording. Band members can also contribute as back up vocalists and help out with forgotten lyrics.

Live Band Karoake provides lyric sheets for any song on the list. The lyrics are printed in large type so they are easier to read while singing. There are tons of songs to choose from covering all areas of rock and roll providing something for everyone.

Here's what some people are saying:

"I just wanted to shoot you an email saying how much we loved having Live Band Karaoke at Drake University for our Homecoming 2011 events. They were a huge hit among the students and were a joy to work with. Their interaction with the audience was wonderful, especially by not making them feel embarrassed, even if the singer's karaoke skills were lacking. For next year's Homecoming Co-Chairs I have recommended getting Live Band Karaoke again, so I hope this turns into a wonderful Drake tradition. "

Thank you – that was the best LBK gig that I’ve seen here, and students are still talking about it. Everybody who wanted to sing got on stage, but there was such a demand that they had to cut off sign-ups halfway through the show! Steve, Tim, Scott and John were all so talented and wonderful to work with as usual. The student emcees were amazing; they dressed up, gave away prizes, and came up with a creative introduction for every single person who sang. Live Band Karaoke is an absolute favorite at Bluffton – rocking out is a heck of a way to end the year.

Assistant Director of Marbeck Center Bluffton University

Dear Live Band Karaoke,

The Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Department at Naval Station Great Lakes would like to thank you for your band’s recent performance at the Great Lakes Idol Competition on Sunday, May 2nd, 2010. Your band members’ cooperation, conduct and timeliness was recognized and greatly appreciated. Their presence greatly enhanced our competition state atmosphere, and their enthusiastic performances helped encourage the audition contestants to make the stage their own. The judges, audience members, and audition contestants thoroughly enjoyed the evening and are looking forward to a similar special event in the future.

Your band members’ interactions with our patrons were enjoyable and professional. All were able to leave with memorable moments that occurred throughout the evening. Again, on behalf of the active duty, spouses, retirees, and other civilians associated with Naval Station Great Lakes, we would just like to thank you for helping us to make this a special and memorable event. Your talents will be thought of for future special events.

Scott,

The Student Activities Committee at Southwest Minnesota State University would like to take the time to thank you for the quality entertainment and professional courtesy and correspondence we have recieved from you, your agency, and your artists.

Looking back at our Fall semester we have had a busy season with a lot of knock out events. All of us here at the Student Activities Committee share the sentiment that our best event of the semester was by far Live Band Karoake. We had our largerst turn out of the semester and perhaps of our committee's recent history. It was a great event for everyone in attendance. One particular SMSU student told us, "This was the best night of my whole year, I have never had this much fun!" He said he loved the chance to be a "Rock Star," and he was!

The musicians from Live Band were so much fun, and great to work with. People were having so much fun late into the night, and the band even played extra for us. It was a huge favor. They also said that they were having fun with us and loved our crowd. They told us they were excited to come back. We are excited to have them here again and looking forward to it very much.

Please feel free to share our sentiments expressed here.

Thank You All,
Student Activities Committee at SMSU
