Bio

While some would say he was born in a hospital, others would argue that rapper, songwriter and producer Leslie Steward was probably born in a recording studio. Since the restless age of 14, Leslie has been following in the musical footsteps of his father, owner and founder of Copia Records, Butch Stewart. Through the influence of a more pop driven form of rap music, Leslie soon took an interest in Hip-Hop and its culture. Since then, Leslie Stewart, AKA Lavish Mikell, has completed this first solo album. He has also written and produced for multiple Hip-Hop and R&B talent based in Chicago.
