Jason LeVasseur (la-VASS-er) “Get Your Show On The Road” Fast FactsLocation: Nashville
BioAward winning musician, Jason LeVasseur has a new inspirational lecture that is designed to inspire students to find their own voice, sing their own song, and dance their own dance. Jason uses the idea of each person being a "touring rock star" as a metaphor for life. Praise:A student review from “Get Your Show On The Road” -
“I just wanted to thank you. When you were at CMU for Leadership Safari, I was watching your first presentation. I know I already told you this, but you influenced me to change my major to secondary education. I've always wanted to be a teacher, and seeing you fulfill your dreams encouraged me to do the same. I've told my entire family what you've done for me. If it wasn't for you, I would be studying something that I have zero interest in, and I would have a miserable career in a few years. When I become a teacher, I'll owe you more than you could ever imagine. Just remember that you have changed someone's life. I'll always be thankful for your words.
We truly enjoyed having Jason on our campus. His lecture encouraged students to move in their own direction no matter what comes up in life. It was an empowering lecture and music performance that kept our students thinking, laughing, and tapping their foot to the beat of his story. Jason used his touring experiences and stories to really connect with the students as he encouraged them to discover their own voice, sing their own song, and dance their own dance. We will be bringing Jason back again for our Welcome Weeks where we attempt to inspire our students to set out goals for them to achieve during their college experience. |
