TV's funniest pop-culture challenge comes alive as the trivia - spouting stars of Comedy Central's Beat The Geek's take to the collegiate stage! Resident geeks Mark Heuck, Paul Goebel and Andy Zax (movie, TV, and music geeks respectively) take on all who dare to challenge them in an evening of game-play action and general hilarity hosted by Blaine Capatch. The game is played in much the same fashion as it is on TV, but altered to give as many students as possible the chance to face the Geeks. A random selection of twelve participants will play a toss up round where six participants will be cut and the rest will be split into three teams. Then teams will have the chance to square off against the geeks in a head to head competition. At the end of this series of challenge rounds, the highest scoring team will choose one team member to take on the geek of his/her choice in a climactic geek-to-geek showdown for a chance at a grand prize of $500 and actually cool consolation prizes provided by Comedy Central. After the show, the geeks will finish the evening with an informal autograph signing/question-answer session. (Live presentation of Meet the Geeks is roughly 60 - 90 minutes)
