Bio
Frederick Winters has performed over 2,000 shows and entertained
over 500,000 people!
Who best to tell you what it is all about than Frederick himself? So
we asked him to give us a brief description of what he is all about.
This is what he said…
So here's the scoop: I LOVE to "swing my watch for a good time."
OK, I don't actually use a watch but I sure have fun hypnotizing people.
You'll detect from the moment I'm introduced to the audience that there's
no place I'd rather be than on stage entertaining a college or corporate
crowd. But, more importantly, the CROWDS have a great time too! Thousands
of people have come up to me over the years and said, "I've never
laughed so hard in my life!" Wow... I can't imagine being told
anything better than that.
OH! Back to the bio... how did I become a hypnotist? I met a great hypnotist
when I was in college at Northwestern University in Chicago. I sort
of became his "sidekick" as he performed in Chicago doing
shows and workshops. His name is George Vaughn Lowther (THANK YOU, Vaughn).
He taught me tons about hypnosis AND performing it, too, and I'm truly
indebted to him. I started performing for small parties around Chicago,
then later at resorts and on cruise ships.
After getting my certification in hypnotherapy, I partnered with my
agents Scott Bass and Chris Schuler (Bass/Schuler Entertainment) around
1990 - and we never looked back! My performance calendar is out of sight.
200 shows annually. Whew! That translates into lots of air miles....
But I'm humbled daily by the great reviews and rebookings that come
my way.
Finally, people ask me, "How come you don't burn out with such
a heavy performance schedule?" It's like this: I love what I do.
I truly enjoy the advisors, students and executives who work with me
each day to insure a successful show - and I love demonstrating hypnosis
and the powers of the human mind to anyone who will watch! If I haven't
performed for YOUR school or company yet, I hope that you'll give me
that opportunity very soon.

Our Frederick Winters show was AMAZING! [We] went up on stage and we were hypnotized! I don't really remember anything from the show but from what I heard... people have never laughed so hard in their entire lives. I did some things that I never thought that I would ever do... Since the show, we have had a lot of requests from the students wanting him to come back to ICC.
Frederick Winters was so wonderful to work with. He was so nice and polite. We would have him back in a second! ...he was spectacular.

Good afternoon Scott!
Thanks again for arranging for Frederick Winters to perform on our campus. He was incredible! Obviously, the students thoroughly enjoyed seeing their friends and classmates hypnotized, but they also enjoyed Frederick’s personality. He kept the audience engaged, even while focusing the majority of his attention on the ones being hypnotized. Even though he performed just a few days ago, I have been asked already if he’s returning next year.

I am a student at Springfield College in Illinois, where Mr. Winters performed his hypnosis/comedy act today. I was lucky enough to be a participant in the act and I would just like to share nothing but good words about my experience. It was like nothing I imagined. I am usually not the type of person to go in front of an audience, but a friend wanted me to, so I did it. I was worried that I would be tricked into doing things that I would regret, but it was all ethical and a great performance. I had a great time and Frederick Winters is a great act.
