Granted exclusive and unlimited access to the Balaban and Katz Theater Orchestra Collection of 26,000 stock arrangments, Alan Gresik delivers fox trots, tangos, waltzes, ballads, and of course swing with an authentic and vibrancy which has not been heard since the golden age of American dance music. The Swing Shift Orchestra has been the house band at Chicago's Hottest Jazz Club, the Green Mill Lounge, every Thursday for the past five years. If you like it hot, there is no other place more sizzling than The Green Mill on Thursday night as the Swing Shift Orchestra cooks it up fresh. The Swing Shift Orchestra was featured in the MGM motion picture "Return to Me," starring David Duchoveny, Minnie Driver and Bonnie Hunt, and has also performed in the 2003 Chicago Jazz Festival.
