A SHOT OF REALITY From M.i. Productions, Creators of Mission: IMPROVable From Mission IMPROVable, Campus Activities Magazine's Comedy Act of the Year, comes a new show that combines improv comedy, audience participation, and education. "A Shot of Reality" provides an honest, engaging, humorous and sober new look at alcohol awareness on campus. "A Shot of Reality" educates students about encountering alcohol in a college environment. Entertaining and informative, two performers present the show in the form of a birthday party for the students in the audience. Alternating between hilarious improvisations, in which the audience participates, and educational sketches which drive home facts and statistics, "A Shot of Reality" will make audiences laugh, think, and inform their behavior towards alcohol. All performers have extensive training in alcohol awareness education, improv comedy, and interactive theater. "A Shot of Reality" is tailor-made for each school or event, incorporating college, local, and state alcohol policies for each show.

Mission IMPROVable has performed at thousands of colleges across the country over the last twelve years. Their short form comedy show has been nominated for dozens of awards and performed everywhere from Lollapalooza to Disney Cruise Lines to colleges and universities in nearly every state in the country. They own a theater and training center in Santa Monica CA. Their experience on college campuses interacting with students for over a dozen years makes them uniquely qualified to present "A Shot of Reality".

Using MI to hook the students into coming to A Shot of Reality was great too. Our drug and alcohol person was  very impressed and was even introduced during the show!

Shot of Reality was awesome.  Those guys were great.  You’ll have to ask them about the “yard o beef”.
