MEG ALLISON & JOSHUA STEVENS PERFORMANCE RIDER

 

This rider is attached to and made part of Contract # ___________, dated ______, between Meg Allison (herein referred to as Presenter) and                                        ___________________________________ (herein referred to as Purchaser).

 

All term and provisions hereinafter and herein before set forth part of one and the same contract.

  1. To advance day of show, either contact Kristina Jurcevic at (773)481-2600 or Meg Allison at (708)721-8037.

 

  1. Meg and Josh will plan to arrive at the performance at least one (1) hour prior to the scheduled performance.

 

  1. Artists will be entitled to cancel her performance with no prior notice in the event that she is ill, hired to appear on or in preparation for or otherwise with respect to a television show (by way of example: American Idol, Nashville Star, talk shows, morning shows and the like), feature film, or television commercial at a time that conflicts with her scheduled performance. In the event that Artist cancels her performance, Artist will attempt to reschedule on a mutually agreed upon date.

 

  1. Venue Requirements:

 

    1. Must be in an appropriate venue with fixed seats/the purpose of viewing performances (i.e. auditorium, coffeehouse, not a cafeteria)
    2. Must be an organized show.
    3. Promotion for the event is greatly appreciated. Promotional material can be provided by Bass/Schuler prior to the event if requested. Only an audience can make it a show! J

 

  1. Technical Requirements:

 

    1. Vocal microphone(s) (Shure SM 58 is the industry standard)
    2. Boom microphone stand(s) (the kind that has two parts so that it can bend, not a straight upright one)
    3. Mixing Board
    4. Cables
    5. Two speakers (adjust size based on size of room)
    6. One Monitor (if available, not necessary if room is 20’ x 20’ or smaller)

All of the above sufficient to accommodate an amplified acoustic guitar, keyboard (if provided by Purchaser), and looping pedal. Please e-mail Artist (megallison68@hotmail.com) with any questions.

 

  1. Hospitality:
    1. Overnight accommodations in a non-smoking room in a lobby entrance only (“inside rooms”) Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Comfort Inn, Country Inn and Suites, Jameson Inn or comparable facility. Hotel must have internet access; and an exercise room, or school must be able to provide a day gym pass. If applicable, purchaser agrees to cover the cost of parking.
    2. 4 Bottles of water for the performance.
    3. 2 barstools.
    4. Two meals.
    5. Sound check one (1) hour prior to performance.
