Marcoux Corner --CONTRACT RIDER

This rider #__________ is part and parcel to contract dated _______________, 2003 by and between Marcoux Corner, hereinafter referred to as “Artist”, and ________________________________________, hereinafter referred to as “Purchaser”.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

LOAD-IN

Marcoux Corner (MC) will need performance space, dressing rooms and technical staff ready 4 hours before the performance for load-in, with nothing going on around the area that would impede the set-up and sound check. Please note that MC will need approximately 1½ hours to vacate the performance space following the show.

STAGE

MC requires a swept and empty stage ready for set-up at load-in. The stage area must be at least 12’X12”. MC requires use of entire stage.

SOUND SYSTEM

MC provides their own sound system. MC may choose to use part or all of the house sound system and requests that the sound booth be made available. A qualified board operator should be available to consult with MC at load-in.

LIGHTING

Your best available stage lighting. MC will need to consult someone familiar with the house lighting at load-in.

ELECTRICAL

MC needs a minimum of three 20-amp circuits to plug in sound equipment.

DRESSING ROOMS

MC will need one clean, smoke-free and secure dressing room as close to the stage as possible. Please provide a rack for hanging garment bags, access to the bathroom (preferably private) and 12 bottles of non-carbonated water.

MERCHANDISE

One or two volunteers to help with the sales after the show is not required but is very much appreciated.

-MC requests a volunteer to do a prepared introduction of the group at show time. A microphone will be provided by MC for this purpose.
