Performance
Requirements:
_____ Performance area should be in an auditorium or elevated stage area.
_____ A laptop computer projection unit with internet access. The computer unit
should have a speaker system to be heard by the audience.
_____ A VCR unit to play video clips.
_____ A screen to project images from the laptop computer unit and VCR.
_____ One Podium with a microphone. (A cordless Lavalier microphone is
preferable, but if unavailable a cordless, handheld microphone is fine.)
_____ General lighting with the stage lights if possible. House lights and stage lights
should be able to dim with help of an assistant.
_____ Two bottles of cold water. A pitcher of ice water with a glass is acceptable.
_____ Mr. Baird requires adequate time to set up and check the sound system, one
to two hours prior to the first show.
_____ Meal(s) for presenter on the date of the performance. Meal(s) should be
scheduled to conclude at least one hour prior to performance. As a
suggestion, Mr. Baird enjoys if time allows, having a meal or reception with
the host group before or after the presentation.
_____ This program is not to be audio or videotaped without prior approval from
Greg Baird.
_____ The presentation must be held in a non-smoking location and remain smoke
free during the entire performance.
_____ Artist will meet before or after the show with the local/campus newspapers
and other media if time allows.
_____ Mr. Baird must be provided with appropriate transportation to and from
airport, venue and publicity.
_____ A sweatshirt or t-shirt (L or XL) with school’s name or mascot on it is appreciated.
_____ Please provide hotel accommodations. Residence Hall rooms are not
acceptable. Hotel room must be non-smoking, have phone for outgoing calls,
television and restaurant establishments nearby. Hotel should be within a
reasonable distance of venue is required.

Greg will be allowed to cancel
his performance with no prior notice in the event that he is hired to appear on
a Television show, in a feature film, or a Television commercial at a time that
conflicts with his scheduled performance. In the event that Greg cancels his
performance, Greg or the agency representing Greg for that performance will
supply a suitable replacement or reschedule Greg on an agreed upon date.
