Virtual Motion DUI Simulator Single Unit

Client responsible to meet this event rider as it is considered part of contract.  Failure may result in date not starting on time or playing at client’s expense.

  1. Full Size DUI Simulator (Mustang GT): A 35” viewing monitor is in front of simulator for driver, passenger and spectator viewing.  Outside events require client to provide a dry, enclosed tent for weather conditions, winds, etc. or an alternate adverse weather location.  FOR BETTER VIEWING DUE TO SUNLIGHT, there is a red-topped EZUP 3 sided popup tent on the DUI truck. EZUP is provided for sunlight purposes.  Client still needs to provide an alternative adverse weather location.  See #6.
  2. Access to Set-up Site:  Requires actual, full-size car to be pushed into place within 50 feet of delivery truck.  Over 50 ft., client to arrange to have additional help available.  Access to site requires tow vehicle & trailer having 60 ft. length to drive to setup location.  Must be parked in close proximity for maintenance tools.  Client to provide 2 volunteers to help push car into show place at set-up and also at tear-down.  Client to provide parking for truck/trailer.  Actual full size car cannot be lifted up steps tilted.  DUI Simulator Mustang GT width 80”: needs minimum of 80 – 84 inches access.  Will NOT fit though double doors.
  3. Garage Door Access & Freight Elevators:  Minimum of a garage door width of 80-84 INCH MINIMUM access for all events (Doors, access gates, tents, etc.)  Double doors without a rod in the center are NOT adequate for Single DUI Simulator.  DUI Simulator is actual 17’ 6” in length & needs a minimum of 20 ft length to maneuver into a freight elevator with minimum 2800 lb weight capacity.  Actual car & cannot go up stairs, steep ramps, ramps w/sharp turns, corners in narrow hallways w/angles, etc. 
  4. Power: Client to provide a minimum of (4) four clean, dedicated 110 v, 20 AMP circuits.  Power must be within 50 ft. of event.  Generators must meet pre-approved recommendation specifications, ie: 4 pole, | 800 rpm, etc.
  5. Standard Package: (1) 35” driver viewing monitor in front of the car with one 27” Sony TV viewing monitor placed outside of car.  Outright purchases/long term leasing packages may be customized, subject to additional fees. Submit requests.
  6. Outright Purchases and Long Term Leases:  Long term leasing includes a trailer to house the Simulator of approx. 24 ft. to 28 ft.  (24 ft. is the most requested due to ease of handling and towing).  Client to provide the actual tow vehicle to be used on long term leasing and outright purchase.  Recommend minimum one (1) ton pick-up truck with dual wheels.  Opportunity for client to promote sponsor’s logos and advertising on truck and canopy. Includes standard replacement items kit.  Training will be provided for client operator in Moline, IL.  Outright purchase may order trailer at additional charge.
  7. Space Requirements: The average minimum space requirement is a minimum of 10ft x 20ft. For allowing spectators to stand around a car, a minimum of 20 ft. x 20 ft. is required.  Locations must be barrier free (no poles, beams, etc.)  Height of client provided tent needs 10ft (51”) and CANNOT HAVE A POLE IN CENTER.
  8. Client responsible for payment in full if unable to access site.  Rain-or-shine events. Client is responsible for payment in full on outside events unable to play due to adverse weather and client did not provide an alternative indoor location.  Events under proper conditions may be held outside.  Client to provide an alternative indoor location in case of adverse weather (wet grounds causing unsafe electrical operation, winds, rain, sunlight, etc.)  Once event is set-up outside, it is considered a successful event & cannot be moved for that day’s event should bad weather move in, etc.  Temperatures less than 50 degrees to be held indoors.  Outside locations must be free of damp/wet grounds, water, and be on a flat surface.  Tents cannot have pole in center & need 3 sides with 4th side option due to winds, dust, etc.
  9. Pre-show access to site:  Minimum of 1-2 hours access to event site is required for proper set-up.  Please allow extra access and setup time during winter weather, for difficult access to site locations, etc.
  10. Multiple day events at same exact location: Client to provide adequate security personnel for a multiple day event, otherwise a secured and locked are for computers, sound equipment, etc.
  11. Volunteers: Client to provide 2 adult volunteers to help push car into place at set-up & at tear-down.  Suggest for large events, that clients provide volunteers to help select next driver/passengers, crowd control, MC event, etc.
  12. Monies, tickets or wristbands: Operator will not accept monies during event (will accept tickets, wristbands, etc.)
  13. Rates: All rates are based on U.S. Currency exchange.
  14. Crew: Please provide hospitality for crew member (s) (ie: hot dog, sandwiches) & beverages at event (ie: water, pop).
  15. Lodging: Client to prearrange/pay 1 double lodging, non-smoking for each day’s event.  Please arrange to hold rooms for late arrival, as crew will be traveling in from previous events.  Supply hotel name, telephone, address, confirmation #, map/directions.  Reserve under Sports Center Marketing.  Dorm rooms are not recommended unless away from student population with separate facilities (kitchen, restroom, phone, TV, etc.).
  16. Maps/Directions/Emergency Cell#: Client to provide detailed map, address, directions, and preferred on site location sketch.  Crew will be traveling from previous event, and emergency cell/contact # is appreciated.
  17. Road Manager: Road manager will work with client on mutual setup areas, etc.  However, for a quality event based on electrical, access, etc., the road manager will retain the right to a final decision.
  18. Storage/Parking of all Vehicles & Trailers: Client responsible for pre-arranging and/or reimbursing SCM for the following from arrival to departure: All fees incurred in regards to set-up, storage at event, union labor rules, and booth requirements (floor coverings, backdrops, etc.) Client responsible for all fees & requirements associated w/parking & storing all trucks, trailers & vehicles. Includes pre-arranging parking permits, space reservations, supplying travel to/from vehicles & event site.
  19. Exceptions to rider requirements for this event must be pre-approved in writing.
  20. Please have check day of event given to crew manager.
