CONTRACT RIDER

 

The information listed below is pertinent to BBI’s set-up, performance and breakdown.  If any of the following cannot be provided, please contact BBI or Agent as soon as possible.

 

THE STAGE

             Purchaser agrees to meet the following stage requirements:

(1)   20’ x 30’ stage minimum

(2)   2 drum risers 8’x 8’ minimum (if possible)

(3)   A well-swept and clean stage, free of all debris and clear of any storage such as risers, additional sound and/or lights, etc. at least one hour prior to load in.

(4)   Two sets of stairs to access stage (left and right).

(5)   If venue is outdoors, the stage must be equipped with a canopy or tent .

(6)   If venue is outdoors, a portable restroom facility must be provided within 50 feet of the stage.

 

POWER REQUIREMENTS

            (1)  6 – 20 amp circuits or distribution box

(2)     Should venue not have power necessary to supply show production, Purchaser agrees to provide a

generator to supplement existing power supply to venue with approval of Artist and/or Agent.

(3)     Generator should be placed as not to interfere with the sound of the show.

(4)     Sound and light power shall be from two (2) totally separate generators.

 

SOUND AND LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

If sound is being provided by PURCHASER, band needs:

(1)     1 professional mixing console (16 input channels minimum) with at least 4 sub groups, 4 auxiliary pre/post fader sends, phase reverse switch, insert points on all channels accompanied with EQ’s and effects units.

(2)     4 monitor wedges.

(3)     2 short boom stands, 3 long heavy base boom stands, 1 straight round base stand, 4 lp claws and 6 D.I.’s.

(4)     Speaker system sized to comfortably reproduce Artist’s level between 105 and 110 db at house mix position. 

(5)     Purchaser will provide a professional lighting system, consisting of at least 12 color gel par 64 and specials,

and a qualified operator/lighting designer.

(6)     Purchaser agrees to provide, when lights are not flown, a sufficient ground support to raise equipment

height above stage.

(7)     One ladder of sufficient height to focus all lights.

(8)     One banquet size table (8ft.).

(9)     Artist’s sound engineer shall have complete access to house mixer, EQ’s, effects and limiters.

 

STAGE CREW

(1)     4 or more loaders at time of load-in for assistance in placement of equipment on stage.  The same amount of people needed to be available for load-out.  If stairs are involved, the call of loaders should be increased by 2 for a total of 6 on load-in and out.

 

SOUND CHECK

(1) Artist’s requires at least 2 hours for set-up and sound check. No one, other than working personnel, is allowed in the room or near the stage area during this process.

 

 

DRESSING ROOM

(1)     Purchaser agrees to provide 2 Artist’s dressing rooms – (1) will comfortably accommodate 5 males.  They will both be well private, lit, clean, lockable, heated, a/c, and electrical outlets with a full-length mirror and clothes rack.

(2)     Artists will be provided with 10 clean terry cloth towels.

 

CATERING

(1)     Purchaser shall provide (12) 9 oz bottles of Ice Mountain, Dasani or Evian chilled water. An assortment of sodas that will consist of Mountain Dew, Coke and 7-up ( no diets ).

(2)     12 pack of Gatorade or Powerade, 6 pack of Red Bull, Sobe’ or Rock Star (energy drinks).

(3)     An assortment of juices.

(4)     All drinks are to be chilled prior to set-up and during performance.

(5)     On arrival purchaser shall provide snack trays with assorted breads, meats, vegetables and fruits including condiments and plastic ware for six adults.

(6)     A well-balanced meal shall be provided for 6 adults (preferably after performance at a reputable 24 hour restaurant).  If the above requirement cannot be met, a $15 cash buyout for 6 will ensue.

 

OVERNIGHT ACCOMODATIONS

(1)     2 double rooms and 2 single rooms (one single and double room shall be non smoking) at a first class hotel.  Please provide name and number of hotel below.

 

TRAVEL ABROAD

(1)     When Artist is traveling abroad in a non English-Speaking country, promoter is to provide a translator that is to remain with Artist at all times.

(2)     Upon arrival of Artist, Purchaser shall provide first class transportation to and from airport.  Purchaser will also provide all internal transportation between venue and hotel.

 

MISCELLANEOUS

No portion of the performance shall be recorded, reproduced, or transmitted from the place of performance, in any manner or by any means whatsoever, without the specific written approval from the Artist.

 

 

BY SIGNING THIS CONTRACT AND RIDER, I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL SECTIONS.
